I am going to run a mile for every innocent person killed on 911and all the military professionals who died after 911 as the result of our country taking the war to the enemy. Yes there are many military professionals who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan that was not the result of combat... but their service and sacrifice to join at a time of war is admirable. I have deep respect for all of our military and I am deeply saddened that our country had to endure the most terrible attack in my lifetime.
I really don't like running. But at an attempt to maintain some fitness and achieve some personal goals.. I needed to find something to keep me going on my off time.. What better way to stay sharp than to remember all of those who have died on 911 and those who have sacrificed their lives so that we may all live ours.
I love America.. And I am Proud to call my self American. Please join me as I run over 11,000 miles in the memory of each person who has died and hopefully share there story.
May we never forget.
